Q. When is Skydive Columbus open?
A. We typically operate on weekends from 8am until dark. We can accommodate requests for jumps to be made during the week.
Q. Can I get licensed?
A. Skydive Columbus has experienced staff on hand to train you to start skydiving to become an experienced skydiver. You will not receive better hands-on attention and dedicated instructors specifically for you from any other drop zone.
Q. Do I need a reservation?
A. Although you do not need a reservation, we highly encourage it. We staff for the day according to who makes a reservation. Making a reservation guarantees you that when you arrive you have our undivided attention which keeps you from waiting around unnecessarily.
Q. What do I need to make a reservation?

Q. How long will my first jump take?
A. You should plan to be at our facility for a couple of hours.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Comfortable, well-fit tennis shoes and casual clothing. Shorts or jeans are okay depending on the weather. We furnish you with a jumpsuit.
Q. Is there an age limit?
A. Yes, due to legal concerns you must be 18 years old.
Q. Are there weight limits?
A. Yes, 230 lbs. for Tandem jumps with special regard to physical condition. (There is a big difference between a 20-year-old football player and a 90 year old, each weighing 230lbs) Each Tandem instructor has the final decision based on his ability to confidently guide you through the jump safely.
Q. What if it rains?
A. Tandems are simply rescheduled for another date.
