Kip Kelsey

Kip Kelsey is our lead pilot with over 25,000 flight hours. He recently retired from Continental Airlines after 20 years where he flew both B-747s and B-737s. He is an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), a Turbo Jet Flight Engineer and is instrument and multi-engine rated. Kip is also a Flight Instructor and has logged over 600 hours flying skydivers. In his private time, Kip is an attorney who is currently serving as a Magistrate in several local Mayor’s Courts.

Neil Peterson

Neil is responsible for our safety and flight training programs. He is an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with more than 5,000 hours of flight time. Neil is a Certified Instrument flight instructor for both single and multi-engine aircraft as well as an Advanced Instrument ground instructor. Neils experience in aviation includes work as an Airline and Cargo pilot as well as a Private Charter Captain. Neil is also experienced in Aerobatic flight, glider-towing and banner-towing.

Tom Baxter

Tom holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a multiengine land airplane rating and maintains Commercial privileges ratings in both fixed-wing and rotary-wing (helicopters). He is a Certified Flight Instructor for both single and multiengine airplanes as well as instrument ratings. Toms previous experience in aviation includes work as a charter, corporate and commuter airline captain as well as flying EMS and aerial application helicopters.

Christine Mortine

Christine holds a commercial, instrument and multi engine rating. She is also a certified flight instructor who instructs at Bolton Airport. She is a board member of the local chapter 9 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) as well as a member of the Spirit of Columbus which is the local chapter of Women in Aviation International. Additionally, she volunteers for fly Young Eagles (kids for want to become pilots) and Angel Flights (medical patients). Prior to becoming a pilot, Christine was and continues to be a professional concert soprano and orchestra conductor.

Craig Weaver

Craig is a Commercial pilot as well as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). Craig is Instrument rated and is also an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) with Inspection Authorization (IA). Craig is a local FAA FAASTeam volunteer representative for both aircraft maintenance/airworthiness and pilot/operations.

Ken Ramos

Ken is an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and is also a designated FAA Helicopter Flight Examiner for the central Ohio region. He is currently serving as the Columbus Professional Pilots Association president and is a Major in the Civil Air Patrol. Ken also provides Helicopter flight instruction to the Columbus Police department where he is also a Police officer. Ken is also fluent in Spanish.
